We liked the idea of a sticker as a seal for their rooms, which would be applied by housekeeping after cleaning. Unfortunately stickers presented issues with the adhesive sticking to the doors and frames, damaging paintwork, and leaving residue. Creating yet more cleaning work was not part of the plan... So we went for a different solution, reclaiming the humble card door hanger and retooling it.

For our Welsh client hotels we created a double sided design, one side in Welsh, one in English, and included a QR code link to the property Covid-19 information page. With typography and colours in-line with the brand book that Casa Collina created for each property, the visual message is aligned with the website, signage and branding throughout the guest’s stay. We believe it is a warm and more genuine solution that conveys the care taken by each property and their commitment to make a great and safe stay for every guest. Staying on brand with typography and design, sticking to the branding, is key to creating powerful messaging for your guests.
